Many years of experience received at Unicorn is passed on to students through lectures and, in particular, through practical workshops. Students thus gain a unique opportunity to acquaint themselves with well-established practice and to discuss issues with experts during lectures. We teach students about the development of information systems so that they understand the processes and technologies and obtain a proper grasp of business. We also introduce them to the forms types of potential clients and help them develop their teamwork skills. Foreign languages, primarily English and Russian, are also an integral part of studies.
Unicorn College graduates are sought after "goods" on the labor market
Not only do our graduates receive a graduation ring with their university diploma, but they break into the labor market in the specific branch they have studied, thanks to the knowledge and experience earned during study. Approximately a third of graduates begin their career with Unicorn, while another third have already found employment during their studies. The remaining third have either established their own company during studies or do so upon graduating – thanks to our well-developed program of support for starting entrepreneurs. In addition, all graduates interested in master’s studies easily meet the entrance examination conditions and, of course, they are often ranked among the best students in their class. No graduates leave our university without a job.
We honor and teach a corporate approach
We work with our students as colleagues and teach them a ‘corporate approach’ right from the first day. This is reflected in the field of observance of the specified rules, use of corporate standards in the elaboration of student´s works and in the opportunity to express their opinions regarding how the university functions within the framework of the rules - i.e. concisely, objectively and constructively. At Unicorn College, all important information regarding the operation of the university, in particular about the course of studies of all students, is recorded in the university information system.
All information in one place
Thanks to the Unicorn Universe internet service, our students can study at anytime and from anywhere. Each student can find extensive study materials for individual subjects, submit their homework, find the results of all tests taken, look at their study results, reserve a book in the university library or enroll for examinations. Moreover, the student has all the lectures, examinations and other important events in which they should participate in their electronic diary which is accessible on the Internet through Unicorn Universe on any device, e.g. from a mobile phone.
