In Business English 1 students get acquainted with business English. Their language skills necessary for communication in English are be systematically developed.
What are you going to learn

Careers - To learn how to speak about various aspects of career.

Modals, Telephoning, CV - To learn how to use modals in selected meanings, to improve communication skills for telephoning and leading interviews, to learn how to write a CV.

Companies - To learn to talk about companies.

Present simple and present continuous, Presenting a company - To learn the difference between two present tenses, to improve presentations skills and practice writing an e-mail.

Selling, Modals - To be able to talk about various aspects of selling and to learn how to use modal verbs must, need to, have to, should.

Negotiating, Saying 'no' politely, Memo and Order - To improve negotiation skills, to learn how to write a memo and order.

Great ideas, Verb and noun combinations - To be able to talk about innovative ideas, to learn new verb and noun combinations.

Past simple and past continuous, Successful meetings, Giving information - To learn differences in the use of past simple and past continuous, to improve the ability to take an active part in a business meeting, to be able to write a short report and an information e-mail.

How the course is organized
Full time study
The course consists of 12 lectures, each lasting 1,5 hours.
