The purpose of this course is to illustrate the issues connected to starting and running a small and medium enterprise. Students learn not only about the individual steps in founding a new company (especially preparing a business plan), but they will also look into the "founding fathers'" mentality. The course is based on Extraordinary Entrepreneurship and its "extraordinary" insight into creating a business.
What are you going to learn
Extraordinary Nature of Entrepreneurship - Understand different types of ventures and their peculiarities.
Developing the Business Plan - The nature, role and importance of a comprehensive business planning.
Components of the Business Plan - From the cover page to the key risks and exit strategy, from marketing to budgeting and financial management.
Sources of Funding and the Financing Plan.
How the course is organized
Full time study
The course consist of 6 lectures and 12 seminars, each lasting 1,5 hours.
Part time study
The course is taught on the weekend in 4 blocks, each lasting 3 hours.
