The course aims to understand the generics of operational management and the importance of its role to achieve organizational goals. Students will receive orientation in basic tools and techniques to create, manage and improve operations.
What are you going to learn
Generalities and Importance; Creating procsses - Understand the general characteristics of operational management in production and service system.
Characterictics of processes; Creating the operation - Understand the usual classification of processes that can be found in manufacture or services systems.
Activities of Operational Management; Planning the operation - Understand the main aspects of activities and how they are currently processed in business.
Activities of Operational Management; Project Management - Show basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning and Supply Chain.
How the course is organized
Full time study
The course consist of 6 lectures and 6 seminars, each lasting 1,5 hours. Part of the subject is also the one-day excursion to the factory.
Part time study
The course consist of 4 block, each lasting 3 hours.
